VET Power is a 3 year-project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Capacity Building programme. It builds on four years of successful collaboration through the SAAM (Supporting Alliance for African Mobility) pilot mobility scheme project. The project aims to further strengthen the achievements of SAAM, involving a diverse spectrum of stakeholders active in the field of VET in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, Spain, Italy and France.

VET Power focuses on strengthening vocational education in Benin, Burkina Faso, and Cameroon, with particular emphasis on the electricity sector, work-based learning, and internationalisation strategies. It aims to foster robust cooperation between Africa and Europe, driving shared progress and innovation in vocational training.

The main activities of the projects will involve:

• Integrating digital and green transitions into the electricity sector
• Strengthening the pedagogical and transversal skills of managers, trainers and tutors in companies
• Strengthening capacities in internationalisation strategy
• Setting up a mobility programme for trainers and learners between Africa and Europe
