A Strategic Launchpad at Espacio Joven Ibercaja

The first half of the week took place at the Espacio Joven Ibercaja, where partners engaged in high-level coordination and work package reviews.

As the new project coordinator, MUNDUS led sessions on Monday, May 4, to align all partners with the project’s updated workflow and mobility schedule ensuring a transparent and efficient framework for the consortium’s future activities.

On Tuesday, May 5, the focus shifted to technical excellence. GIP FIPAN (France) presented the advancements of Work Package 2 focusing on:

• • The development of innovative training modules.
  • Specific progress in the creation of electricity-related units.
  • The implementation of Work-Based Learning (WBL) methodologies to bridge the gap between education and industry.

Scuola Centrale Formazione (Italy) as responsible  of Work Package 3 and 5 focused on:

• • The status of transversal pedagogical modules designed to enhance management and teaching quality.
  • The project’s communication and dissemination strategy, ensuring that the impact of VET POWER reaches local and international stakeholders effectively.

A pivotal moment of the meeting occurred on the morning of Wednesday, May 6, when the spotlight turned to the progress within the African partner institutions. Representatives from each school shared their unique achievements and specific institutional needs.

This session provided a vital platform for the European partners to understand the ground-level impact of the project and to tailor future support to the specific contexts of the vocational centers in Cotonou, Ebolowa, and Bobo Dioulasso.

Beyond the Transnational Project Meeting

The Zaragoza meeting was not limited to indoor sessions. Partners participated in a guided cultural visit to discover the city’s heritage, including the iconic Plaza del Pilar. These moments proved essential for strengthening the bonds of friendship and trust that underpin this transnational partnership.
