The new partner GIP-FIPAN joining the project!
As our project enters its next phase, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to SEPR, our departing project coordinator. Their dedicated leadership, expertise, and guidance have been instrumental in getting us to where we are today, and we wish them the absolute best in all their future endeavors. While we are sad to see them go, we are thrilled to turn the page and welcome a fantastic new partner into the fold: GIP FIPAN, who will be stepping into the project bringing its technical and international expertise; while MUNDUS has taken the role of coordinating the project.
The GIP FIPAN (Public Interest Group for Training and Professional Insertion of the Nice Academy) is a public legal entity under the French Ministry of National Education. It supports the development of lifelong learning, vocational training, and professional integration within the Nice Academy.
Created in 2002, it acts as a coordination and implementation tool for continuing education policies. It manages its own funding through training activities, reaching around 7 million euros in turnover and 24 million euros in managed funds in 2019.
Its main activities include consultancy in training and HR development, support for the Validation of Prior Learning (VAE), coordination of staff training plans, and the management of national and international projects linked to education, employment, and inclusion. It also oversees apprenticeship development across the academy.
The pole P2ID leads innovation and international cooperation, coordinating around 22 European projects (Erasmus+, Interreg, etc.). The VAE pole (DAVA) supports candidates in validating professional experience and obtaining qualifications. The CFA provides over 100 apprenticeship programmes across 39 schools, training more than 1,500 apprentices, with EDUFORM certification and strong links between school and workplace learning.
